How Doodiva handles selected photos, online AI processing, purchases and support.

Published October 14, 2026 · Appy Labs, LLC · Doodiva, formerly Doodlify

Photos you choose

The app uses the system photo picker to import the photo you select. When you request an AI edit and agree to processing, that image and any optional scene context are sent through Appy Labs backend infrastructure hosted by Cloudflare to an AI processing provider, including fal.ai. Generation does not happen entirely on your device.

The result is returned to the app for comparison, saving or sharing. AI results can change details. Only send images and context you have the right to use and are comfortable having processed by an external service.

Storage and recovery

In app versions with recent-edit history, copies of selected original photos and their generated results are stored locally on your device. Use the local cache clearing action in Settings to remove that history. Backend generation records and temporary generated results support delivery and recovery of interrupted requests. Photos saved to your library remain there until you delete them. Local app history is not a permanent backup.

Our backend and AI provider can retain processing records and temporary images. Retention depends on the service and the type of record. Email us to ask about retention or request deletion.

Purchases and credits

Apple processes purchases. RevenueCat helps coordinate purchase and subscription status. App-specific identifiers, transaction identifiers, product identifiers, credit grants and generation records support balances, restoration and fraud prevention. Appy Labs does not receive your full payment card details.

Optional app analytics

The iOS app uses Mixpanel only after you allow usage analytics. Events describe app activity and outcomes with an anonymous app-install identifier. Photos, typed scene context, payment details and receipts are not sent to Mixpanel. You can turn off Share Usage Analytics in app Settings. This stops subsequent collection; it does not automatically delete events already received.

Apple Ads attribution

The app includes Apple Ads attribution to learn whether an installation came from an Apple ad. It sends an Apple attribution token and an app-specific identifier to our backend, which requests attribution information from Apple. Available campaign, ad, keyword, country or region, and conversion details may be stored with that identifier. This is separate from optional Mixpanel usage analytics and does not send your photo or scene context.

This website

This website does not ask you to upload photos, create an account or enter payment information. We have not added advertising trackers or browser analytics. Hosting providers process ordinary request information to serve and secure the site. Fonts are delivered locally with the site.

Support and deletion

If you email us, we receive the information you include and use it to respond. Avoid sending sensitive images or full purchase receipts. To ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information, email doodlify@appylabs.xyz.

Purchase, credit, fraud-prevention and legal records may need to be retained where required. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove backend records, persistent app-specific identifiers or images separately saved in Photos. It does not cancel an Apple subscription.
